Jr. KG
Around 3½ to 4½ years. Jr. KG is when letters and numbers start to click. Children learn to read letters by sound, write them, and count well beyond ten, without losing the fun.

Counting, writing numbers, before and after, more and less.

Floating and sinking, plants growing, weather and seasons.

Retelling stories, rhymes in English, Hindi and Marathi.

By the end of the year
Every child grows at their own pace. Most Jr. KG children can:
- Knows all letter sounds
- Writes capital and small letters
- Reads simple three-letter words
- Counts and writes numbers to 50
- Talks about a topic in a few sentences
- Follows two- and three-step instructions
A day in Jr. KG
Short, playful blocks that fit how long small children can pay attention.
Monday to Saturday, [9:00 am – 1:00 pm].
Hello and free play
Children arrive, settle in and choose a toy or a corner.
Circle time
Songs, the day’s weather, and a few new words together.
Learning through play
The week’s topic — animals, numbers, colours — with blocks, pictures and games.
Snack and outdoor play
A healthy snack from home, fresh air and running around.
Art, music or movement
Painting, clay, dance, rhymes — something different each day.
Story and goodbye
A story, a song, and home time with a known adult.

Will my child learn to read in Jr. KG?
Children learn all the letter sounds and start reading simple three-letter words like “cat” and “sun”.
Do you teach Hindi and Marathi letters?
